“Once a month married women would put their names in a box to do overtime on the 28th floor. The Bachelor Floor, as it is known on site. Whether by design or luck, it’s an all-male staff of unmarried and unengaged men. At least in the beginning. This event might have started years ago by the men, or an elected man, picking a lady themselves. Either from inside our outside of the company for “moral” support for those late night projects. Over the years it turned into what it is now. A way for married women in the company to get something they want, need or just a little curious about for a whole week. One mom or wife or fiancee cannot participate in more than four weeks in one year. Only once or twice has a name needed to be removed from the lottery. Here is a, treat? for you. I came across this story the other day and decided to work on it a little. I relearned about how I used to write all those years ago.  All in all it's not bad, a bit odd with it's plot, and if you are use to my stories, you will know it's not all my style, but back then, I use to try out  different ideas in shorter stories.
