“Welcome to the minor league gentlemen,” the coach started as he stood in front of the whole team for the first time that season. It appeared that everyone was on time today. The owner of the team had been worried that not everyone would have shown up. And just not for the first day, but for the whole season with everyone trying to hold on to the jobs that they already had during the off-season. But he seemed to have been worried for nothing. Neither the owner or the coach had received such letters. But as the owner walked up to the front of the group as he was introduced by the coach, he finally put his fears to rest. The coach steps down and stands next to one of the newbies, who was standing up front. They struck up a quiet conversation as the owner stated convincingly that everyone will be paid in full and on time. That all their past grievances had been addressed.
