Ian and Carl... Part 3

I talked about adding the Ian and Carl Collection the Adult-fanfiction.org, but I also wrote and posted a third short story to the collection of Ian and Carl.

I have it posted at DA and WattPad.

I can't get you a visual link, like the one above, to the copy on DA. But if you don't have an account there, you can't see it anyway since it's labeled mature. But if you do have an account over there, just look up my profile. jemgirl is my name over there. :)

I can't get you a link just to the third part, so a general link to the story will have to do.

In other Ian and Carl related news. I made a back cover and I am thinking of posting it over at Scribd. But since they are really pushing for me to get a paid membership when I'm looking at my own work, I'm thinking of moving. If I was puttering around the site and reading other people's work and all that I would get why they would be asking me to pay for a membership, but I'm not.

I may put off posting the 'book' until I have a fourth story in there.:) We'll see.

Later.

Updated and Reposted

Hey. I wasn't planning on updating this story, but hey. I made it around to Adult-fanfiction.org yesterday and started to post Ian and Carl there.
I then wondered what stories there I needed to update. They have it set up that when I added Ian and Carl, I was in the section for only my original stories.
I started to read over Child's Play, and it was going rather well until I hit page two. So I decided to read it over and fix it up and repost it since it only had three short chapters.
I didn't remember exactly how I ended it, so I was a bit surprised at how I did. So I after fixing up the first two and reading over the third, I spent some time adding on to the last chapter. It was missing details, so that is what I gave it. I hope it doesn't sound too out of place.
Of course, I can tell where I added in the pieces, but I also know that my writing isn't how it was when I first wrote this. So some other people, who have read my other stories may also be able to see the difference, but I hope it's not too much of a sharp contrast between the two.
So here you go, a link to the Scribd version.
Speaking of Scribd, they are starting to get pushy for me to join up. So I may be looking for a new place to post my PDF copies soon.
If you know of somewhere, please share. :)

Small little updates

Hey.

I'm working on keeping you informed.

I got Adobe Acrobat DC to help me do one thing, but it seems like it can't do what I want either. Disappointing. But it does give me the chance to make bookmarks again in my chapter stories.

I had received a star on the last chapter of my story 'The Gift' and for some reason, I went to look at it. I read down about a page when I saw an error. That lead me into reading over the whole thing and fixing all errors that I could find with the help of Grammarly my new error checker. Mostly.

I still read it over and catch what I can on my own and then the program shows me what I miss and I learn. Bit by slow bit. But yesterday I found out that it can miss a few things for odd little reasons. So it's not fool proof. Unforntiatnly.

Either which way. I think it was just that one page and it caught them later when I updated the copy I have on WattPad. That is how I knew it missed them the first time. I have it built into my Chrome browser.

Any which way. I corrected the document, merged all the parts together in Acrobat, then made bookmarks. So now I'm very happy with it and I've updated the copies that can be found on Scribd and DA. And WattPad, but no pdf there.

Then tonight I realized that I should do it for my other longer stories that I've spent the last year updating while I still have the free trial for another 25 days. So I did 'Daddy's Acceptance' tonight/this morning and now the new improved copy is out in the world. Now I have two left to do. 'Together' and 'House Boys', then I can end it with them and get back to working on 'The Queens'.

I haven't been pushing it off into a corner either. I've added pages to the draft since the last time I posted here. I've just never done a mystery before and I think that is why I'm slightly stuck again. I also know what I'm writing up too many details for this first loose draft, but I guess that just means that part will have less work for me when I get back around to it again during the next draft and the actual writing of the story.

But I'll try and make myself write something this weekend. I just saw a couple that I'm building up now, lasting into the next book. So at least I have that, but what about now?

What About Now??!?!?

You can't help me. ..... ..

I Posted Luna's Fairies

Yep, I did it. I couldn't stop thinking about it.

It wasn't so bad. A few little changes besides some typos. The biggest typo was on the cover itself. All these years and I didn't see it until now. I spelt fairies wrong. :(
Well, it's all fixed now. I may never touch it again, but as I was doing it, I saw where I had room to expand on the story. I half hope that don't, but I can see why someone might ask me to continue.

My WattPad Stories

So to date, this is what I have over at WattPad, not counting 'Ian and Carl' that I posted before. And I'm right. They give the whole first chapter to read before asking you to go the site to read the rest of it.

So there you go. DA, Scribd and now WattPad give you great visuals as links to their site and the stories. :)

Later and enjoy.

Ian And Carl - Update

I told you that I was going to post a link, so here you go.

I didn't realize it would look this good. I may post all WattPad stories this way in the next post. :)

But as cute as this is, there is a small flaw. When you click on that side arrow, you see the word description and the formatting is just about shot. Then it gives you the first chapter of the book.

Ok. I think I'll go post the others now. :)

I Actually Forgot

It occurred to me the other day that I posted notices on two other sites about what I've been up to with my writing and completely forgot about writing up anything here. I'm a little surprised at how old my last post is too.

Now, let's see. All the way back in January, I told you something of a story I had started on and was working on a draft for. It was and is called 'The Queens'.

What has changed is that it is officially three books now. They will be subtitled : Growth, Struggle, and Rebirth, in that order.

I'm almost done with the loose draft for all three. It's currently 17 pages long. In fact, I finished the last two before I finished the first one. It seems to be harder to write for some reason. Once that is done I'll move into a more detailed draft of each book in its own file. From there I'll be actually writing the books.

I told one of my sites that I don't know when I'll post the first book. I hope to just end one book and then start up the next one. I may post when I'm half-way through the second one. That sounds most likely.

I've worked on it as recently as a day ago. This first draft is suppose to be the second easiest of the three stages. I feel that the actual writing of the book shouldn't be that hard since I've flushed out each turn that I'm suppose to take. There shouldn't be any writers block at this time. The first draft is suppose to be light touching on what I want to happen in the books so I don't have to worry about every detail. I just need to get the story from point A to point B in a way I'm happy with.

I think the hardest part will be the second draft. Here is where I work everything else out. I'm aware of all the research that I need to do and now I have to do them. During all this I may find out that I can't do some things the way I want and I will have to edit the draft and track down all the things that the change would affect.

I dread that part the most. My head spins at the research I will have to do to bring my world to life. Oh, didn't I say? I'm building a new world for these stories. I have two races on this planet. They came from one species, but they have branched off slightly. One race is mostly vegan, and the other eats more meat. So that over the years and what their base species is, had them looking physically different just a little. They even mostly live in separate cities. There is nothing against them mingling, but they honestly like being separate mostly.

We are not swimming in tech. We are very earth-bound. They have kings and queens. Clearly. Yes, sex is all over this and with three books, there will a lot of it.

What else can I say that won't be considered a spoiler? No, can't think of anything. I do have a downer of a fact for you though. I don't see myself even finishing the first book before Christmas. So you may not see anything of these stories, other than updates, for a whole year at least.

Now, to let the world know that I'm not dead, now or during that time, I've been correcting 'House Boys' and reposted it along with 'Daddies Acceptance' to Scribd and DA. I've added 'The End' to WattPad. That was a very, very sort thing of a fanfic from Death Note that I made ages ago.

I've also corrected what I posted of 'Ian and Carl' over there and in my files. I gave it a cover that I of course made myself. Then a day or so later I added a second chapter/story. I read it over at least twice. I'll post the link in the next post.

I'm thinking of working on the next part this weekend before or after I give some time to the draft for 'The Queens'. I'm also thinking of posting the other bit that I have for Death Note and my last Harry Potter story that is almost too must for me and I wrote it. I haven't touched 'Luna's Faries' in ages. When I do edit it, I'll have to update the version I have over at Scribd. This will never be posted on DA but I think I do have it posted over at AFF. That will be updated too. If I don't have any comments there, I may risk my read count and repost it as a new story just to get eyes on it.

And there you go. That is about everything I've been doing story wise since the last update.

Sorry again for taking so long to come back here. I'll try and do better. I'll be sure to post excerpts when I have a story to take some from. :)
